When I found you I continued to searc and found your brothers, Perry and Jesse. I see they also are still at it with The Tearaways. Good to see. I listened to your recent songs, great stuff. I had never realized that you had written all the Dreamers songs back then, what a talent you have proven to be. Someday I won't be surprised to see you accept a Grammy, or two. I went to a potluck last night for my daughter's singing club group and your name came up. It was at Mark's house in Summerland. I'm so impressed with your strength. I know you've had some challenging times and its inspirational to hear that you just milled through it and came out shining. I love the fact that you wrote songs on a mail route. BTW---both of my daughters compete to see who can sing Breakaway the loudest and most often. Mark told me last night that you co-wrote it! Congratulations on your hit. When my girls and I hear it in the car, we all go for it, but they get annoyed 'cause I keep jumbling up the words. Thank god I have them both there to set me straight.
